Product description

The glue is used to fix the screw joints. Thanks to the glue, joints secured in this way are resistant to loosening even in the event of shock and vibration. The glue also seals the threads of the screws, protecting them from rusting.

Fixation using this glue has medium strength. If necessary, the screwed joint can be disassembled with common tools. The glue resists grease, water, oil or solvents. Its temperature resistance ranges from -30 °C to +100 °C. Metal Lock is an anaerobic glue. This means that the product hardens in combination with the metal and in the absence of oxygen. Therefore, the glue will not cure outside the joints where oxygen is present.

Scope of application

Suitable for bonding metals. Secures screws and nuts. Areas of application: cars, engines, carburettors, bicycles, magnet fishing, lawn mowers and many more.

Not suitable for application with synthetic materials and wood.

Instructions for use

Glued surfaces must be dry, clean and degreased. For example, you can use acetone to degrease. Remove any loose rust in advance with a wire brush or other effective method.

Apply glue to one side of the thread, screw the parts together immediately. The joint reaches the handling strength after 15-30 minutes and the final strength after 24 hours. Remove fresh stains immediately with soap and water. Remove the hardened glue with a sharp knife.

Important

Do not use at temperatures below +10 °C. Store in a cool, dry place.
