Waterproof magnets
Ordinary neodymium magnets are not suitable for use in wet environments as they will rust upon prolonged contact with water. However, you can use rubber-coated neodymium magnets or epoxy coated magnets. A layer of rubber or epoxy resin is waterproof and protects the magnet from corrosion. You can also use ferrite magnets, which do not rust.
