Product description
The neodymium magnet metal detector helps to find iron pipes, reinforcements in concrete or steel profiles behind drywall without the need for demolition or drilling.
How does it work?
No batteries, no electronics – just pure physics! When a metallic element is within the magnetic field range of the detector, the embedded, together with the steel eyelet, is magnetically drawn to the checked surface. This is how the magnetic detector signals the presence of a metallic element.
Detection efficiency depends on:
- the material and size of the metal element – the detector only detects magnetic metals such as iron and steel. It does not react to aluminium, copper, brass, or certain types of stainless steel that are not magnetic,
- thickness of its covering,
- detector position – it achieves the best results in a horizontal position when searching in the wall, when searching vertically in ceiling constructions its efficiency is slightly lower.

How to use the magnetic metal detector?
- Pull the steel eyelet away from the plastic body. This will ready the embedded magnet for measurement.
- Slowly move the magnetic metal detector over the checked surface.
- If the embedded magnet is attracted to a surface at a certain spot, it means that the metal element you are looking for is nearby.
