This magnetic pick-up wand is a tool for easy, quick and safe picking up or sorting of metal filings, chips, nails, staples, washers or other metal debris. You will appreciate it, for example, when you need to pick up several small metal objects from the ground. It also serves well when you need to pick up metal objects from harder to reach places. You will also praise it when sorting metal objects and debris from among other non-magnetic materials.
How does the magnetic pick-up wand work?
The magnetic pick-up wand can pick up or separate metal objects and debris thanks to the strong permanent magnet that is hidden in it.
The magnetic pick-up wand (separator) is comprised of:
- the base part – stainless steel casing with handle
- the central pull-out part – a rod with a strong magnet.
When picking up, the magnetic handheld wand for picking up metal chips is in the home position with the magnet central bar inserted. Metal objects are then attracted to it and remain attached to the steel casing. They are then moved to the desired position on the wand, where they are released by pulling the central bar.
The wand length when retracted is 42 cm, the diameter of the end is 2.5 cm and the weight is 440 grams. The end of the handle features a practical hook for hanging the pick-up wand somewhere till next time.
